Google Tips For Higher Rankings

Google ranks websites differently to most other search engines and it’s no longer the days of inserting some META keyword tags and be done with it. You must invest time into your website to rank well in Google; however if done properly, it is well worth it especially when your website starts to rank high in the most used search engine on the web. Read on to find a few useful tips on how you can help improve your website SEO and get to promised land of Page 1 on Google!

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TIP: There are many areas of Search engine optimization (SEO), but one of the most important dynamics is anchor text of inbound or incoming links. Simply put, the more links to your site from good reputable sources the more likely Google will rank you better as Google seems to put a significant amount of weight on your incoming links. So make sure to submit your website to all your local business directories with relevent information, don’t just spam them with keywords. If you get a large amount of incoming links from related sites with high PR (PageRank) and with your keywords in the anchor text, you are starting off on a great footing.
